Who We Are
Andover was platted in 1886 and later incorporated as a city in 1910. We're a rural farm community with a small population and big country pride. A trip through our city will take you back to simpler times. Eastern Iowa's slice of Americana - The Friendly Community.
City Services
City Services - Water utilities, Trash pickup, Sewer, Parks/Recreation.
City bills can be paid at the office by appointment, placed in the drop box located in front of Clerk's office, by ACH (setup required) or mailed to P.O. Box 108, Andover, IA 52701.
All City bills are due the 15th of each month.
Clerk's Corner
It's been an interesting 6 months with much to learn. Thank you for your patience while I get up to speed learning about the city & understanding how county and state agencies impact how your city operates.
We now have the ability to ACH your monthly utility payments, please email the Clerks office if you're interested in signing up to have your utility bill auto drafted each month.
If you need to speak with me, I am not typically at City Hall, however I do check the voice messages often and can return your call or your can email me for an faster response.
